Two of Everton’s Premier League fixtures, the Merseyside derby at Anfield and a Goodison Park meeting with Chelsea, have been moved for live television coverage.
Additionally, matches against Burnley and Leicester City, postponed either side of new year, have been allocated new dates.
Everton visit to Burnley’s Turf Moor home is set for Wednesday 6 April, with a 7.30pm kick-off. The game in Lancashire couldn’t proceed in its original Boxing Day slot due to a high number of COVID cases and injuries in the visitors’ squad.
Frank Lampard’s team will host Leicester on Wednesday 20 April, kicking off at 7.45pm. The home match against the Midlands club was previously planned for 11 January but fell by the wayside because Leicester “did not have the required number of players due to COVID-19 cases, injuries and players on international duty at the Africa Cup of Nations”.
This season’s second derby clash, meanwhile, will be staged on Sunday 24 April at 4.30pm and screened live on Sky Sports.
There remains scope, however, for a second rearrangement, if Liverpool have a Champions League fixture on Tuesday 26 April. The match was initially pencilled in for Saturday 23 April at 3pm.
Manager Lampard is poised to welcome former club Chelsea to Goodison on Sunday 1 May at 2pm for a clash shown live on Sky Sports.
If Chelsea are obliged to play a Champions League tie on Tuesday 3 May, however, the match in L4 will be shifted to a new date.
Everton’s home encounter with Chelsea was formerly scheduled for 3pm on Saturday 30 April.
