Liverpool legend John Barnes claims Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford would 'fit in' at Liverpool.
But Barnes believes Rashford would not move to Anfield and also stressed rumours suggesting a bid for West Ham United forward Jarrod Bowen are wide of the mark.
Bowen has gone from strength to strength since moving to east London from Hull and his performances have him linked with a move to a Anfield.
That move did not materialise in the winter transfer window, with the Reds instead acquiring Luis Diaz from Porto.
That signing has not stopped speculation mounting that Bowen is as long-term Liverpool target.

But former Red Barnes believes that not every player in good form or who are deemed a 'good fit' should be signed by the club, citing Manchester United attacker Marcus Rashford as a player who is not joining the Merseyside club.
And on Bowen, the former England winger added that Liverpool need to sell one of Roberto Firmino, Mohamed Salah, Diogo Jota, Divock Origi and the aforementioned Diaz before adding anyone else.
"There are lots of players who’d be a good fit for Liverpool, but it’s just pure speculation," Barnes told BonusBetCodes. "Marcus Rashford would fit in at Liverpool, but he’s not coming.

"Liverpool haven’t been in for Bowen and he hasn’t said he wants to leave. As far as I know they haven’t made an enquiry. He’s a good player but when you pick players out of the air and say ‘would they be a good fit for Liverpool?’ it’s pointless. It’s just a load of noise.
"Liverpool still have Jota, Firmino, Mane, Salah, Origi’s still there and Diaz has come in. How many people do they need for the front three?"
