The Tour Series has confirmed it will return to London this year, with Barking set to host a round of the UK’s leading domestic cycle race series for the first time on 21st May.
The round will form part of the inaugural Barking BikeFest, which will feature a full day of community fun and cycle-themed activities.
Ben Latty will return to Liverpool FC as Commercial Director in March, less than a year after moving on from the Premier League club to become Commercial Director at Bristol Sport in August 2021.
Latty served in a number of roles at Liverpool after having worked at the NBA, Fulham FC and Chelsea FC earlier in his career.
David Bernard-Bret has been promoted to the role of Vice-President, Discovery Sports Marketing.
Bernard-Bret, who served most recently as Senior Director of Campaigns for Discovery Sports, will oversee the teams driving all marketing activity for Discovery Sports’ consumer and business-to-business brands that sit within Discovery Sports.
Charlie Dundas has been promoted to Managing Director of Sport Industry Awards partner YouGov Sport UK.
Dundas has served as the sports, sponsorship and entertainment research company’s Commercial Director since 2016.
Peter Hutton, Meta’s Director of Sports Partnerships, has been appointed as a Non-Executive Director at Eleven Group.
Hutton’s new advisory position will see him work closely with Eleven’s founders – Executive Chairman Andrea Radrizzani and CEO Marc Watson – and the rest of the media group’s leadership team, to drive growth.
LimeLight Sports has published its first annual sustainability report following the sports marketing group’s commitment in January 2021 to launch a Sustainability Manifesto.
Following positive steps taken in 2021, LimeLight has now committed to being carbon-neutral as a business by the end of this year.
EFL League One club Wycombe Wanderers FC has announced a partnership with The Turmeric Co., founded by professional footballer Thomas Hal Robson-Kanu.
The Turmeric Co. has become an official supplier of its turmeric-based shots to the first-team squad and has also signed up as its first-ever official TikTok partner.
