Live stream details, injury news and more ahead of the rearranged Premier League game.
Liverpool face Leeds United in a rearranged fixture – and here’s everything you need to know ahead of the clash.
The game was initially scheduled to take place on Boxing Day but was postponed due to COVID-19 cases in the Whites’ squad.
But it will now take place on Wednesday, February 23 (7:45pm).
A win for the Reds could see them cut the gap to leaders Manchester City, with Jurgen Klopp’s side possessing a game in hand on the current title favourites.
Leeds, meanwhile, will be looking to put more distance between themselves and the relegation zone after some tricky results of late.
Much will depend on whether the two squads come through their weekend fixtures unscathed – with Liverpool set to play Norwich City and Leeds facing Manchester United.
But as things stand, the Reds will be sweating over the fitness of forward Diogo Jota after he was confirmed to have suffered ankle ligament damage in the win over Inter Milan.
That makes the Portuguese forward a major doubt for the visit of Leeds, as well as the Carabao Cup final against Chelsea days later.
Divock Origi and Jordan Henderson both made the bench in Italt, though, and are moving closer to a full return after their respective injury lay-offs.
Leeds, meanwhile, are set to be without a number of key players.
Liam Cooper (hamstring), Kalvin Phillips (hamstring), Patrick Bamford (foot), Junior Firpo (thigh), Sam Greenwood (knee), Charlie Cresswell (shoulder) and Stuart Dallas have all been absent or sustained injuries in recent weeks – and so could be viewed as doubts for the visit to Anfield.
Liverpool XI: Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Van Dijk, Konate, Robertson, Henderson, Fabinho, Keita, Firmino, Salah, Mane
Leeds United XI: Meslier, Llorente, Koch, Struijk, Klich, Ayling, Hjelde, Rapinha, Rodrigo, Harrison, James
Liverpool’s clash with Leeds United will not be on TV.
While the original game was selected for broadcast on BT Sport, it will not be broadcast in the UK due to a clash with Champions League fixtures – which will also be broadcast on BT Sport.
That means there is no stream of the fixture for domestic supporters.
There are several ways to watch the highlights. The BT Sport YouTube channel will show all the main bits from the game, while both clubs’ websites will have highlights around two hours after the match concludes.
And follow LiverpoolWorld for all the latest live from Anfield plus player ratings after the final whistle.
